For an international distributor with over 25 years of expertise as a functional plant-based ingredients specialist and innovator, we are looking for a:

Sales Manager, Food & Beverage m/f/d for Germany

  • We sell to beverage, dairy, confectionery, bakery, nutritional supplements, processed food, and food service industries.
  • This reflects our commitment to sustainability and innovation, solidifying our role as a key player in shaping the future of the food industry.
  • In this position, you will drive business expansion in the Food and Beverage Ingredients (FBI) industry.

Home office based.

Tasks
  • Grow sales through prospecting and developing new potential accounts, focusing on business development and expansion.
  • Visit customers regularly to build and maintain relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers in Asia and Europe through joint visits and regular reporting to support mutual growth.
  • Manage the product portfolio to support business activities.
  • Update and maintain projects and compile meeting reports in our CRM system (Salesforce.com).
Requirements
  • Degree in Food Technology, Science, or a related discipline, with relevant sales experience in the food ingredients industry.
  • Broad network in the German food ingredients industry is an asset.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with excellent time management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Highly organized self-starter capable of managing customer visits and territory effectively.
  • Excellent fluency in both English and German, written and spoken.
