Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic German Speaking Travel Experience Advisor for Airbnb to join our team based in Sofia, Bulgaria. We will assist with relocation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and efficient service to the worldwide Airbnb community.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints/queries as the first point of contact.
  • Respond professionally and empathetically via phone, messaging, and chat channels.
  • Own user queries until resolution.
  • Investigate, identify, and escalate issues, prioritizing urgent matters.
  • Compose thoughtful responses and customize replies to customer queries.
  • Research information and troubleshoot problems using available resources.
  • Report product and process issues impacting the community.
  • Maintain accuracy and security of customer information on Airbnb systems.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in German (written and spoken) and proficient in English.
  • Patience, empathy, and confidence in communication.
  • Ability to communicate difficult messages positively.
  • Experience in hospitality or call centers is advantageous.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong investigative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and independent in meeting targets and goals.
