Job summary

juucy, ein Berliner Climate-Tech-Startup, sucht eine/n Sustainability Consultant (m/w/d) zur Führung von Kundenprojekten im Bereich CO2-Bilanzen und Net-Zero-Strategien. Sie arbeiten eng mit Produktteams zusammen, validieren Berechnungen und skalieren Beratungsprozesse.

Qualifications

• Muttersprache Deutsch oder fließendes Deutsch (C2) für primäre Kundenkommunikation
• Englisch (C1/C2) wird erwartet
• Mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in Sustainability Consulting oder ähnlicher Rolle
• Nachweisliche Umsetzung von CO2-Berechnungen
• Bereitschaft, operative Deliverables zu liefern und Systeme skalierbar zu gestalten
• Ausgeprägte Projektführung- und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

Responsibilities

• Eigenständige Beratung von Unternehmenskunden zu Corporate Carbon Footprints (CCF), PCF und Net-Zero mit unserer Plattform
• Datenverarbeitung und Validierung von Nachhaltigkeitsdaten und Emissionsberechnungen
• Prozesse optimieren und automatisieren, um Lieferprozesse skalierbar zu machen
• Kundensupport optimieren, Schulungsressourcen erstellen und Wissensbasen entwickeln
• Präsentationen und Fallstudien für Management-Meetings erstellen
• Brücke zwischen Kundenfeedback und Produktteams bilden

About the Role

Are you passionate about leveraging technology to fight climate change? We are an innovative Berlin-born Climate Tech start-up empowering corporate sustainability teams to automate complex workflows, achieve CSRD compliance, and hit their decarbonization targets using our intelligent AI co-pilot combined with expert human insights.

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Sustainability Consultant (m/w/d) to join our growing consulting team. In this role, you will lead corporate clients through their carbon management journeys, validate software calculations, and continuously optimize and automate our consulting operations to scale our impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Ownership: Own end-to-end consulting for enterprise clients on Corporate Carbon Footprints (CCF), Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), and Net-Zero strategy using our proprietary software platform.
• Data Processing & Validation: Process client sustainability and corporate data to construct accurate CCF/PCF calculations and validate AI-generated software results (e.g., Emission Factor matching and review).
• Process Optimization & Automation: Continuously challenge, refine, and redesign existing CCF delivery frameworks and workflows alongside the consulting team to drive scalability.
• Customer Enablement & Success: Serve as a central contact person, optimize help pages and communication channels, and build scalable knowledge assets for clients.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver concise, engaging, and impactful presentations and case studies for complex topics during executive client meetings.
• Product Development Collaboration: Act as a bridge between clients and product teams by translating client feedback into functional enhancements for our platform.

What You Bring (Requirements)

Must-Haves:

• Language Proficiency: Native or Fluent German (C2 level) is mandatory, as primary client communications are in German. Professional English (C1/C2) is required.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in sustainability consulting or an in-house corporate sustainability role, with a strong focus on Corporate Carbon Footprints (CCF), PCF, or Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).
• Hands-on Execution: Proven track record of personally conducting and executing carbon footprint calculations (not purely project management or academic/theoretical knowledge).
• Adaptable & Driven: A strong "builder" mindset, willing to roll up your sleeves to handle operational deliverables while building scalable systems.
• Project & Communication Skills: Exceptional project management capabilities and a crisp, structured, and engaging communication style.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working with mid-market or enterprise-level corporations.
• Background in Climate Tech, Clean-Tech SaaS, retail, or food-industry sustainability projects.
• Track record of building customer enablement assets (e.g., help centers, knowledge bases) or leveraging process automation tools.
