Ignite is a forward-looking digital consultancy in Germany seeking a (Senior) ERP Finance Consultant / Project Manager to lead full-lifecycle ERP rollouts. You’ll bridge accounting processes with system architecture, guiding data migrations, design work, and go-live activities across the DACH region.

Requirements include 5+ years in ERP finance consulting with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, deep GL/AP/AR knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in ERP finance consulting or project execution with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, and cost accounting.
• Experience with data migrations and end-to-end system testing.
• German at C1+ level; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Guide full-cycle ERP finance rollouts and process optimizations for client organizations in the mid-market space.
• Evaluate client financial workflows, outline operational goals, and build refined end-to-end target processes.
• Conceptualize functional system designs with clients and internal development engineers.
• Tailor and set up key Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Cost Accounting) on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.
• Manage data conversion, API/interface integrations, system test phases, and quality management.
• Lead interactive customer workshops, deliver staff training sessions, support go-live execution, and secure post-launch stability.
• Help drive presales by shaping project scope, estimating timelines, drafting proposals, and improving internal finance modules.

Location: Ottobrunn, Germany (Full remote flexibility across Germany; requires 2 days monthly on-site in Ottobrunn)

We are on the lookout for a skilled (Senior) ERP Finance Consultant / Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead full-lifecycle financial software rollouts. In this position, you will bridge accounting processes and technical system architecture, helping clients seamlessly navigate target designs, data migration, system launches, and ongoing optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Guide full-cycle ERP finance rollouts and process optimizations for client organizations in the mid-market space.
• Process Analysis & Design: Evaluate client financial workflows, outline operational goals, and build refined end-to-end target processes.
• Solution Architecture: Conceptualize functional system designs working side-by-side with clients and internal development engineers.
• ERP Configuration: Tailor and set up key Finance modules (General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Management, Cost Accounting) on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.
• Data Integration & Testing: Manage data conversion, API/interface integrations, system test phases, and quality management.
• Workshops & Training: Lead interactive customer workshops, deliver staff training sessions, support go-live execution, and secure post-launch stability.
• Presales & Solutions: Help drive presales by shaping project scope, estimating timelines, drafting proposals, and helping improve internal finance modules.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of practical background in ERP finance consulting or project execution using Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central.
• Domain Expertise: Strong functional grasp of business accounting and finance operations (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting).
• Technical Integration: Practical proficiency in managing data migrations, interface architecture, and end-to-end system testing.
• Language Skills: High-level German skills (minimum C1+), paired with strong written and verbal capabilities.
• Soft Skills: Well-organized project delivery, client-first perspective, strong emotional intelligence, and dynamic problem-solving drive.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel across DACH (around 30%) and complete 2 office days in Ottobrunn each month.

Nice-to-Haves

• Background working with controlling tools, Power BI reports, or other business management software.
• Experience creating or upgrading proprietary finance modules and extensions.
