As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will be part of the Design and Construction team within AMZ Global Engineering services, shaping the future of the Construction Industry. We focus on safety, people, and sustainability while delivering high-quality buildings and capacity to meet customer needs.

This role offers opportunities to travel and work in multiple countries and cultures, with 30% travel within Europe.

Key job responsibilities:

1. Manage complex, cross-functional industrial projects from site selection to design completion, permitting, and contract execution, coordinating with design teams and stakeholders.
2. Control project scope, drive decisions, identify and clear blockers, and escalate issues as needed.
3. Communicate effectively, weigh risks, influence results, and oversee professional service providers.
4. Perform pricing reviews, negotiate costs, estimate project costs, manage due diligences, schedule tracking, and forecasting.
5. Supervise safety program implementation and standards.
6. Negotiate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with relevant experience.
• Project management experience from design to operation, including contracts negotiation.
• Experience in packaging processing/logistics facilities preferred.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering, supply chain, or related STEM field.
• Experience in multiple construction disciplines.
• Knowledge of BIM, experience with Amazon FC launches, and multilingual skills (French, Polish, Arabic).
