Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

• Managing complex, cross-functional industrial projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution.
• Driving decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating issues as needed.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Overseeing professional service providers ensuring their competencies meet project needs.
• Performing pricing reviews and negotiating costs with developers, contractors, and consultants.
• Estimating costs, managing due diligences, schedule tracking, and forecasting.
• Supervising the implementation of Amazon's safety standards.
• Negotiating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar, with relevant experience.
• Project management experience from design to operation, including contract negotiations.
• Experience with packaging processing/logistical facilities preferred.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across Europe.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering, supply chain, or related STEM fields.
• Experience in multiple construction disciplines.
• Knowledge of BIM and experience with Amazon FC launches.
• Additional language skills (French, Polish, Arabic) are a plus.

You will lead Amazon's construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, while improving processes, quality, safety, and sustainability. You will mentor teams, communicate across departments, negotiate contracts, and manage project risks and issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels are essential.
