As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will be part of the Design and Construction team within AMZ Global Engineering services, shaping the future of the Construction Industry. We focus on safety, people, and sustainability while delivering high-quality buildings and capacity to meet customer needs.

The role is based anywhere in Europe with 30% travel within EMEA countries.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing complex industrial projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution.
2. Controlling project scope and accelerating progress by making timely decisions.
3. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive results.
4. Overseeing professional service providers to ensure skills meet project needs.
5. Performing pricing reviews and negotiating costs with developers, contractors, and consultants.
6. Estimating costs, managing due diligence, scheduling, and forecasting.
7. Supervising Amazon's safety programs and standards.
8. Driving accountability and negotiating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar, with relevant experience.
• Project management experience from design to operation, including contracts negotiation.
• Experience in packaging processing/logistics facilities is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering, supply chain, or related STEM field.
• Experience in multiple construction disciplines.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
• Experience with Amazon's new FC launches is desirable.
• Additional language skills such as French, Polish, or Arabic are preferred.
