Are you keen to be part of a team responsible for the development, design, and construction of logistics projects with the latest technology across EMEA countries? As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will be part of the Design and Construction team (D&C) within AMZ Global Engineering Services (GESS), shaping the future of the Construction Industry. We prioritize safety, people, and sustainability.

The role is based anywhere in Europe with 30% travel within EMEA countries.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing complex, cross-functional industrial projects from site selection through design, permitting, and contract execution.
• Controlling project scope, driving decisions, and resolving blockers.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams, negotiating costs, and overseeing service providers.
• Estimating costs, managing due diligences, scheduling, and forecasting.
• Supervising safety program implementation.
• Negotiating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar with relevant experience.
• Experience managing projects from design to operation, including negotiations.
• Experience in packaging processing/logistics facilities preferred.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willing to travel frequently across Europe.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering, operations, supply chain, or related STEM field.
• Experience in multiple construction disciplines.
• Knowledge of BIM and previous Amazon FC launches.
• Additional language skills (French, Polish, Arabic) are a plus.

Each day, you will ensure timely and within-budget project execution, lead and mentor teams, communicate across departments, and negotiate contracts. Your tasks include site validation, risk analysis, design management, and stakeholder engagement. Strong communication skills for both frontline and executive interactions are essential.
