German Content Specialist, Hospitality (FTC)

Lightspeed is looking for a results-driven, strategic German writer to be the voice of Lightspeed Restaurant for the DACH region. As a key member of Lightspeed’s dynamic in-house content team, you’ll deliver content for a range of projects on multiple channels. You’ll be the go-to expert on Lightspeed’s suite of software solutions for restaurants, supporting the hospitality marketing team with campaign ideation and execution, editorial planning and additional initiatives that expand our reach into new and existing markets. Your work will have a direct impact on positioning Lightspeed as the leading platform for restaurants.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering highly polished, creative and impactful copy that supports the go-to-market strategy, multichannel marketing activations and product launches.
  • Creating and editing engaging, storytelling-driven social media content to strengthen the brand and boost engagement.
  • Creating and editing compelling content for integrated marketing campaigns, events, bylines, customer success stories and PR.
  • Writing and managing content on our website, ensuring it follows style guidelines and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Localising material from English to German.
  • Working closely with content team members to maintain a unified brand voice and style across all platforms.
  • Developing a good knowledge of our key products, customers and businesses, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Staying up to date on hospitality industry news and trends.

You’ll bring to the team:

  • 1-3 years of experience in SAAS marketing, copywriting or journalism
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding German writing skills, a creative approach to content, and incredible attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience managing and creating content for social media channels
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, from sales to product to support
  • Familiarity with content management systems like Wordpress and Hootsuite
