Long Description

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

1. Provides input on processes and key functions and management that support business improvements
2. Collaborates with internal organizations and managers to improve engagement and retention within the organization by utilizing HR programs and tools
3. Conducts employee investigations and assists managers with actions as necessary
4. Assists with employee onboarding and offboarding
5. Assists with compliance reporting
6. Provides support to employees on various HR-related topics and resolves issues that may arise
7. Responsible for assisting managers and employees with performance management, goal setting, and year-end conversations
8. Gathers and analyzes data for the purpose of improving organizational performance
9. Supports in the maintenance of employee files and records
10. Assists with employee exit interviews and develops programs to improve retention
11. Responsible for creating and revising job descriptions
12. Works with Finance, Accounting, and Payroll team on job code related issues
13. Contributes to creating solutions for best practices initiatives in such areas as employment, employee communications, career development, compensation, and HRIS delivery
14. Assists in the delivery of change management processes to positively impact organizational effectiveness
15. Responds to general inquiries about Human Resources forms, procedures, and policies
16. Develops HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action
17. Assists in the development, implementation, and revision of policies and procedures as appropriate
18. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

1. Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
2. Ability to work and think independently while ensuring to meet deadlines
3. Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
5. Must have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
7. Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
8. Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills

Demonstrated experience with HRIS systems preferred.

Experience operating in a multi-state and/or complex matrix business environment is desirable.
