CoreWillSoft GmbH in Bonn is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of security software used across Europe, the USA, and Canada. You will work within an Agile team across multiple locations, contributing to the complete software lifecycle and testing physical security systems that interact with hardware and radio protocols.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in manual QA testing across web, mobile and/or desktop platforms, preferably in physical security systems or similar domains.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with test planning, execution, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced English language knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban product development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
• Basic knowledge of CS concepts, networking, and databases.
• Experience in API testing.
• Experience with AI usage in testing activities.
• Proficiency with tools like Git, UNIX CLI, curl, and Wireshark.
• Understanding of general security concepts and security testing.

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products that are used by multiple businesses across Europe, USA and Canada. Our Agile team operates from multiple locations with headquarters in Bonn, Germany, and is responsible for the complete software development lifecycle; including initiating, implementation, and operation of the physical access control software operating multiple electronic locks over different radio protocols and RFID identification media.

What you`ll bring:

• Experience in manual QA testing (web, mobile and/or desktop), preferably in physical security systems or similar domains.

• Experience in API testing.
• Experience in AI usage in testing activities
• Tooling knowledge e.g. git, UNIX command-line tools, curl, Charles Proxy, Wireshark, development tools.
• Understanding ofgeneral security concepts and security testing.

Nice to have:

• Experience with IoT products in building automation and physical access control.
