Utimaco, headquartered in Aachen (Germany), is expanding its QA leadership to build and guide a global QA team responsible for end-to-end product testing across embedded and software domains. You will drive QA strategies, establish quality gates, and mentor engineers within an agile environment.

We value strong communication in English, intercultural collaboration, and deep knowledge of development life cycles.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in a QA leadership role.
• Proven experience in an agile environment.
• Extensive experience in software and hardware development life cycles.
• Deep understanding of embedded development and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of test automation and performance testing.
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery processes.
• Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills in English.
• Intercultural skills as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead and further build a team of QA engineers, responsible for independent end-to-end product testing, and for embedded Quality Assurance in our agile development teams
• Ensuring that the development teams adhere to the QA principles, guidelines, and best practices
• Establish quality gates for product releases based on defined quality metrics and KPIs.
• Contribute to the design and optimization of all quality assuring actions for selected product lines
• Define, develop & deploy standards, methodologies and frameworks for quality assurance and test automation for the global QA team
• Understand business and development strategies and apply knowledge to improve test plans and specifications.
• Recruit new talents and ensure a perfect onboarding of new colleagues
• Coach and develop team members to improve their skills and grow in their profession.

Your profile

• 5+ Years in a QA leadership role
• Proven working experience in an agile environment
• Extensive experience in software and hardware development life cycles
• Deep understanding of embedded developmentand testing methodologies
• Brought knowledge of test automation and performance testing
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery processes
• Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills in English
