Area of responsibilities:


  • Market Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive regional strategy to secure and expand market share. Identification of new business opportunities and management of cross-functional business development initiatives across all product categories
  • Product positioning & market development: Development and implementation of effective go-to-market strategies for existing and new products with the aim of maximizing market penetration and brand presence
  • Leadership & team development: Management, motivation and further development of high-performing sales and marketing teams. Promoting a future-oriented team culture with a focus on results orientation and individual development
  • Brand & marketing responsibility: Overall responsibility for all marketing measures including point of sale execution. Ensuring a consistent brand presence - both online and offline - and a strong market presence for CYBEX in the DACH region
  • Sales Forecasting & ROI Analysis: Managing the monthly forecasting process in close coordination with the sales teams. Ensuring transparency regarding planned marketing measures and their expected return on investment
  • Business Development & Key Account Management: Strategic management of all business development measures as well as support and expansion of key customers. Ongoing market observation, also outside the industry, to identify new potential and networking opportunities.
  • Brand activation & use of flagship stores: Use of company-owned stores for strategic events, networking activities and brand staging.
  • Sales & profit responsibility: Responsibility for achieving sales and profitability targets in the region. Implementation of suitable measures to achieve targets and continuous optimization.
  • Trend monitoring & distribution strategy: Identification and introduction of relevant market trends. Development of customized distribution strategies for further business development

Profile of qualification:


  • At least 8-10 years of relevant professional experience in sales, ideally in leading positions with direct customer contact in dynamic, complex sales organizations
  • Proven success in business development and in the management of complex sales processes
  • Experience in the area of high-quality consumer or technical lifestyle products is essential. Knowledge of dealing with brand-oriented, omnichannel-driven markets is an advantage
  • Strategic vision paired with hands-on implementation readiness
  • Sound knowledge of sales planning, territory management and operational sales planning
  • Adept at analyzing sell-out data, evaluating trade marketing activities and interpreting consumer behavior
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in an audience-oriented manner
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and resilient
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in developing high-performing teams
  • Willingness to take responsibility and make bold decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region
  • Representing the company to public institutions and authorities
  • Fluent in German at native speaker level. Very good written and spoken English (at least C1)
  • Open, willing to learn, adaptable and driven by continuous improvement
  • Deep understanding and affinity for the CYBEX product portfolio
