Responsibilities

Job Description

The General Manager coordinates front and back of house operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide operational and procedural guidance to employees
  • Conduct orientation and oversee training for new employees
  • Develop employees through ongoing feedback, performance expectations, and reviews
  • Handle back office duties
  • Review financial statements, sales, activity reports, and performance data to measure productivity and identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure service procedures adhere to Boston Pizza standards
  • Follow checklists and cleaning schedules
  • Train service staff and strive to upgrade service quality
  • Engage guests and ensure positive guest service
  • Manage shifts, including decision-making, scheduling, and planning
  • Develop and implement marketing, advertising, and community relations programs
