About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate student to join our team as a GenAI Research Student Worker. In this role, you will research Generative AI (GenAI) and explore its applications to enhance our daily manual tasks. You will collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to identify opportunities for leveraging GenAI to improve automation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct research on Generative AI (GenAI) and its capabilities.
2. Identify and evaluate potential applications of GenAI to improve daily manual tasks at Cerence.
3. Collaborate with engineers and researchers to develop and test GenAI prototypes.
4. Document and present your findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
5. Stay updated on the latest advancements in GenAI research.

Qualifications

1. Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
2. Understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
3. Experience with Generative AI models (e.g., GANs, VAEs) is a plus.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
