Head of Desk

Our Heads of Desk (HoD) are the captains of our team, instrumental in ensuring a positive, supportive, and motivational culture at Ebury. They maintain and improve sales performance through the training, coaching, and development of their teams.

A HoD is a leader who sets high standards and inspires their teams to exceed expectations. They use their experience and expertise to offer technical advice and leverage their passion for people to energize and ignite performance on the sales floor.

This is a senior leadership role within our Front Office, with opportunities to advance to country P&L leadership and regional directorships across our various geographies.

About the Job

With a proven track record in FX Sales, you will excel in a managerial role leading a team to achieve outstanding results. As a natural coach, you will enjoy sharing your experience and fostering your team's development. You will also develop sales strategies based on client feedback and market knowledge. Joining an established team, you will benefit from a proven business model and support infrastructure.

  1. Lead a sales team in prospect development, leading by example, coaching, and mentoring team members. You will focus on developing their skills and supporting their career progression.
  2. Pitch and close deals with prospective clients via phone and face-to-face meetings.
  3. Manage customer relationships for new clients to ensure smooth onboarding and initial trades.
  4. Provide accurate sales volume forecasts.
  5. Implement regional sales programs, including sales actions and training plans with your team and fellow Heads of Desk.
  6. Ensure compliance with company-wide sales methodology and administrative processes.
  7. Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
