Job Description:

Your candidacy is currently being considered for a position with an Alight Inc group company. Alight plans to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. Post-transaction, this role will be with the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital (‘Divested Group’). General requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with payroll implementation and HR-related projects
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Open to new ways of implementing
  • Out-of-the-box thinking
  • Solid knowledge of local legal payroll and time regulations
  • Familiar with overall HR end-to-end processes related to payroll and time
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Additional knowledge of payroll for CH and AT is welcomed

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and leading client workshops to capture payroll configuration and localization information
  • Identifying deviations from Alight standards (products & processes)
  • Coordinating configuration of payroll solutions within the implementation team
  • Validating payroll solutions and integrations – SIT execution
  • Performing data validations in payroll systems
  • Coordinating defect resolution within the team
  • Knowledge transfer to the maintenance team for BAU payroll operations
  • Tracking and managing transports/configuration replication across environments
  • Estimating workload for implementing local deviations

Additional contributions:

  • Providing and reviewing project activities, durations, and dependencies
  • Supporting UAT and parallel testing
  • Supporting data validation and issue resolution
  • Managing MPI (Manual Processes Inventory) and workaround definitions
  • Supporting knowledge transfer to HRO teams
  • Planning cutover activities
