A leading company in aerospace engineering is seeking an experienced engineer to join their team in Taufkirchen, Germany. The role involves executing test campaigns, analyzing fault conditions, and collaborating with project teams to ensure quality and compliance. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and several years of related experience, ideally in aerospace, and be ready to work rotating shifts.

Qualifikationen

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in aerospace engineering.
  • Experience with space standards (ECSS) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of telecommands and telemetry management is a plus.

Jobbeschreibung

As part of the AIT Department, you will have the following responsibilities :

  • Execute the thermal vacuum (TVAC) test campaign in a shift;
  • Execute the calibration and characterization (C&C) campaign in the shift. Maintain and improve test procedures, execute them, and assess the test results critically;
  • Analyze and correlate events to their root causes and find pragmatic solutions to cope with time pressure without risking the flight hardware;
  • Coordinate with project teams to develop test strategies that optimize quality, time, and costs;
  • Participate in non-conformance investigations, supporting quality standards compliance;
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts over several months: 3 days early (07:00-15:00), 3 days late (15:00-23:00), 3 nights (23:00-07:00), followed by 3-4 days off.

Qualifications : Skills & Experience

Candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, or Embedded Systems;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in aerospace engineering;
  • Experience with space standards (ECSS) is advantageous;
  • Testing experience is a plus;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills are a plus;
  • Experience with central checkout systems, including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS standards, is advantageous;
  • Knowledge of telecommands and telemetry management is a plus;
