Overview
RAICAM aims to train 10 PhD students on the next generation of mobile robots for inspection and maintenance of industrial facilities. The project involves developing a multi-domain, multi-agent robotic system for chemical or biological analysis of critical infrastructure surfaces. The PhD students will be based across multiple institutions, with details available on the project website.
We are seeking 1 PhD candidate to work at the Technical University of Munich (Garching Campus) within this international, multidisciplinary training network. The program includes research activities, training, and secondments across partner institutions.

Successful candidates will be employed for 36 months, with a gross salary of approximately €3,400/month, plus €600 mobility allowance and €660 family allowance if applicable. Research costs are supported by the host organization(s).
Salary is scaled based on the Country Correction Coefficient for Germany (0.983).
