Qualifikationen

In our IT departments, we develop and operate web applications and platforms based on state-of-the-art technologies. These applications are designed to provide users with user-friendly and efficient interaction. In doing so, we focus on creating digital solutions that both meet current requirements and are flexible enough to respond to future challenges.

Your Tasks

• As part of a team of software developers, you will be responsible for exciting, selected projects, e.g. for the new and further development of the web platforms that we operate for the Federal Republic of Germany, such as the company register and the Federal Gazette
• Develop client/server applications, primarily web applications, as well as web services with Java, Spring (Boot), React and Next.js as part of a team
• Create applications and other technical components in compliance with application architecture specifications and quality criteria such as IT security, data protection, testability, maintainability, robustness, performance and operability
• Develop concepts independently and carry out their implementation
• Use modern software development methods
  
  

Your profile

• Completed studies preferably in computer science or an equivalent qualification acquired through many years of relevant professional experience and further training measures
• Several years of experience in the design and development of client/server applications, primarily web applications and web services with Java, Spring (Boot), JEE standards, web and application servers and relational databases
• Several years of practical experience and extensive methodological knowledge in object-oriented software development with Java
• Experience in the design of software components, interface technologies (REST) and test automation
• Extensive experience with the use of patterns in software development for design, integration and architecture
• Very good know-how in relational databases and SQL (esp. PostgreSQL)
• Confident handling of development tools GIT, IntelliJ/Eclipse and JIRA & Confluence
• Sound knowledge of React or Apache Wicket is an advantage
• Sound knowledge in the areas of Linux and DevOps is an advantage
• Knowledge of container infrastructures (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage
• Business fluent German and good English skills
