Our Team:

The energy trading unit is responsible for optimizing assets across all markets, balancing renewables, and proprietary trading. We trade short term power algorithmically in an expanding geographical scope and have a highly technical team of veteran software engineers, leading AI experts and power trading professionals.

We are looking to strengthen our team with two additional System Engineers (m/f/d) roles which should cover the responsibilities mentioned below.

Your Tasks:

• Building and maintaining our trading system and all supporting systems (data layer for timeseries and non-timeseries data, CRM and much more)


• Create new concepts and flows together with the trading team to continuously improve our systems


• Setup and maintain cloud infrastructures for high availability applications


• Take ownership for communicating with external service providers to build and maintain API connections


• Setup and maintain monitoring systems for both technical and business monitoring, as well as reporting exports


• Support the trading team for system and infrastructure maintenance and possibly python development for the algo trading and ML models

Qualifications:

• University degree in computer or natural sciences, mathematics or economics


• Extensive experience withNodeJs & TypeScript, relevant libraries like expressJS & zod


• Extensive experience with databases (noSQL & SQL - MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.)


• Extensive experience with system integrations, external APIs of various types (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), streaming, microservice architectures, and high-load/high-frequency applications.


• Experience with React & TypeScript


• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, github & git,


• Experience with trading systems of all kind is a big plus


• Experience with Python, ML, statistical modeling is a plus
