Optimus Search in Germany is seeking a Fullstack Developer to join our engineering team as we scale our fintech platform. You'll build features touching real financial transactions with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.

Work with product managers and designers to shape new functionality, maintain code quality, and participate in architecture and compliance discussions. Hybrid work from our Frankfurt office, with equity options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Backend experience with Java or Node.js, and secure API development.
• Understanding of secure, compliant software development; fintech/Banking knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with relational databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Fluent English required; German helpful but not essential.

The Role:

We're a fintech company building products for the banking and financial services sector, and we're looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our engineering team as we scale our platform. You'll work on features that directly touch real financial transactions, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain fullstack features across our core platform
• Work closely with product managers and designers to shape new functionality
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through testing, reviews, and monitoring
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning sessions
• Help maintain compliance with relevant financial and data protection regulations
• Contribute to on-call rotation and incident response as needed

Skills & Experience:

• Backend experience in Java or Node.js, ideally with experience building secure APIs
• Understanding of secure, compliant software development; fintech or banking experience a plus
• Familiarity with relational databases and cloud infrastructure
• Fluent English required, German helpful but not essential
