About the Role :

A leading E-commerce technology team seeks a talented Full Stack Platform Developer to build, maintain, and enhance dynamic, interactive web and 3D customization platforms. This fully remote opportunity is open globally to candidates who can align their work hours with the US Central or Eastern Time Zones .

This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of becoming a multi-year engagement based on performance.

Responsibilities :

• Develop backend services using Ruby on Rails
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and client teams
• Ensure performance and stability across platforms
• Write clean, maintainable, and test-covered code

Required Skills & Experience :

• Proficient with Postgres , MongoDB , Redis , and Ruby gems like Devise
• Solid frontend experience with HTML , CSS , Three.js
• Familiarity with Shopify , Magento , Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Understanding of web services and data formats ( JSON , XML , REST )
• Experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop , Illustrator , and exposure to 3D tools (e.g., Blender, GLTF) is a plus
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver in a remote, fast-paced team
