Overview

Full-Stack/Front-End Developer role at Wireless Logic Ltd (mdex GmbH) with offices in Tangstedt near Hamburg and Grasbrunn near Munich. We are a data communication company providing secure data connections of systems and machines via mobile communications across the IoT universe. We are seeking a proactive Full-Stack/Front-End Developer to join our Software Development Team in Germany, focusing on Jakarta Faces/EE, Python, and PostgreSQL.

We are building and expanding our Tech & Product teams within the Wireless Logic Group for the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and the US. This role offers collaboration with a small, flat-hierarchy development team and opportunities to influence framework choices and project success.

Purpose of the role

As a key member of the Software Development Team, contribute as a passionate Full-Stack/Front-End Developer, driving development in Jakarta Faces/EE, Python, and PostgreSQL. You will work with the team to select appropriate frameworks and support positive team dynamics and project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and improvements to existing functionalities
• Support platform scaling to meet growing customer base needs
• Identify and implement performance and user experience optimizations
• Develop features using Jakarta Faces/EE, Quarkus, Python, PostgreSQL, Keycloak, Gitlab CI, AWS, Ansible, Puppet, and related technologies
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and ensure software quality
• Collaborate with the DevOps team for deployment and production maintenance
• UI/UX optimization and collaboration with product management to ensure user-friendly designs
• Contribute as a team to deliver successful outcomes in a small development environment

Key Skills And Experience

• IT training/education/degree related to IT, business informatics, telecommunications informatics, or network technology
• Solid or initial professional/project experience in software development
• Experience in a cloud environment is advantageous
• Ability to absorb customer requirements and learn new topics continuously
• Very good German (C2) and good English (spoken and written)
• Understanding of WAN, LAN, VPN and IP basics
• Willingness to commit long-term and collaborate in a team
