Job summary

Lobster GmbH is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x) with a focus on Java and networking to join their Engineering department. This hybrid or on-site role is based in Tutzing or Amsterdam. Responsibilities include designing and implementing backend systems, collaborating on technical designs, and integrating AI tools into the workflow. Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in backend development with strong Java skills.
• Solid understanding of Java networking internals and load-balancing concepts.
• Experience with Netty or similar async networking frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Developing and deploying core backend components with a focus on performance.
• Designing network-layer solutions in Java including TCP/IP communication.
• Collaborating closely with QA and Product teams for reliable releases.
