Job summary

Reviva is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to own backend APIs, AI features, and frontend delivery as the product scales. You’ll work primarily in a modern TypeScript stack (Node.js + GraphQL + React) and contribute to engineering standards within a growing product team.

The role is hybrid in Berlin, focusing on scalable backend services, frontend delivery, and collaboration with internal teams and clients. Visa constraints apply; EU Blue Card or permanent residency preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development using TypeScript/Node.js.
• Solid commercial experience with React.
• Experience in product-led SaaS environments.
• Comfortable contributing to architecture, standards, and technical direction.
• Nice to have Hasura/GraphQL platform experience.
• Experience with AI-related features is a plus.

Responsibilities

Senior Full Stack Software EngineerRemote (Berlin / surrounding areas) €90K - €120K

Reviva are partnering with a VC-backed AI SaaS start-up building a next-generation GRC platform used by international clients across the UK, Europe, and the US. They're now looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work across backend APIs, AI features, and frontend delivery as the product continues to scale. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a modern TypeScript stack, wants real ownership, and is comfortable contributing to engineering standards in a growing product team.

The Role

You’ll work across the full stack, with a heavier focus on backend and architecture, while still contributing to frontend delivery.

• Designing and building scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL
• Working on AI-driven product features
• Building frontend functionality in React
• Helping define engineering best practices and scalable development patterns
• Writing clean, maintainable, production-grade code
• Supporting InfoSec and data privacy standards within the platform
• Collaborating with internal teams and clients on technical solutions

What They’re Looking For

• Roughly 8-10+ years software engineering experience
• Strong backend development using TypeScript + Node.js (APIs or AI-related work)
• Solid commercial experience with React
• Experience working in product-led SaaS environments
• Comfortable contributing to architecture, standards, and technical direction
• Nice to have (not essential): Hasura / GraphQL platform experience
• Workflow engine experience such as Temporal

Location Requirements

This role is hybrid in Berlin. Candidates must already hold:
