In the department Omnichannel, we provide digital services and portals for our specialist centers to offer our customers an even better shopping experience. We are implementing innovative projects such as the BAUHAUS pick-up stations.

Your role:

1. As Full Stack (Java / Angular / PHP) Engineer (m / f / d) in our Product Team Store Experience, you design, develop and improve resilient and scalable software solutions which fuel our internal applications and customer facing APIs.
2. You solve system design challenges within your team and across teams in a product-centric environment.
3. You implement, deploy and operate your team’s services from development to production environment and foresee, identify and solve production issues.
4. You take care of existing systems and develop new technical solutions, pursuing a cloud-based approach.
5. You follow agile working principles and focus on values such as objectives and key results (OKRs).
6. You drive quality and standards in our engineering community.

Your profile:

1. Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or (Business) Informatics or a comparable training as IT Specialist (m / f / d) with several years of professional work experience.
2. At least 3 years of work experience as Full Stack Engineer (m / f / d) or Software Developer (m / f / d).
3. Practical experience in using cloud provider platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
4. Comfortable with REST-based communication and familiar with common monitoring/alerting/logging tools.
5. Open-minded personality, comfortable working in a collaborative agile environment and very good knowledge of English; German is a plus.
