Your Role

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join one of our cross-functional, customer-facing teams. In this role, you’ll deliver user-friendly features that our customers rely on daily and write clean, scalable code while collaborating closely with designers to create seamless user experiences.

You’ll own the delivery, performance, and observability of your features, help maintain and evolve our design system, and work with our infrastructure team for smooth deployments. Using modern technologies like Next.js, React, and SASS, you’ll play a key role in migrating our legacy codebase to a scalable architecture.

Your Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain our shopfront codebase, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
2. Lead the migration of our legacy application to a modern frontend stack with Next.js, React, and SCSS.
3. Identify opportunities for technical improvements to enhance performance, code quality, and delivery speed.
4. Collaborate with designers and teammates to deliver high-quality features and develop our design system.
5. Write clean, testable code and optimize our CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments.
6. Participate actively in agile ceremonies, fostering a collaborative team culture.

Your Profile

1. Strong TypeScript skills and experience with Next.js, React, Sass, and Storybook.
2. Proven experience designing architectures for high-traffic web applications.
3. Deep understanding of web fundamentals, from browser performance to rendering strategies, and experience with automated testing.
4. Ability to work effectively in agile teams with a pragmatic, data-driven approach focused on customer value.
5. Excellent communication skills, independence, curiosity, and openness to new technologies, including AI.
6. Additional experience with Twig templating and PHP is a plus.
