Pets Deli sucht einen engagierten Frontend Engineer, der in einem kreativen und agilen Umfeld arbeitet. Ship new customer-facing features, focusing on performance, accessibility and clean UX
Work across the full lifecycle: idea → technical design → implementation → deployment → monitoring
Own technical decisions. Help shape our component architecture, testing strategy and tooling
Write maintainable, well-tested code and build reusable UI components.
Collaborate daily with product managers, designers and backend engineers, integrating RESTful APIs and content from Contentful CMS.
3+ years of professional experience building React/Next.js applications (SSR, ISR, middleware), ideally in an e-commerce or D2C environment.
StrongTypeScriptskills and a good grasp of modern state management (Zustand)
Hands-on experience withTailwind CSSor a utility-first CSS approach
Familiarity with headless CMSs such asContentful(or similar)
Collaborative mindset, product-thinking, and eagerness to take ownership
Proven focus on performance: you measure, profile, and optimise rendering to deliver fast, smooth user experiences
Code accountability: you own what you ship through review, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Confidence writing unit tests and caring about CI/CD quality gates
Fluency in English (German a plus). We’re an international, pet-friendly team
Nice to have:
Experience with payments (PayPal, Apple Pay), analytics (Google Tag Manager) or A/B testing (Ninetailed)
Knowledge of AWS.
E-commerce or D2C background
