Frontend Developer (x,f,m)

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to help shape the future of mobile banking for DKB customers. As part of our mobile products team, you will contribute to designing, developing, testing, and maintaining various elements of our banking app—ensuring intuitive, fast, and accessible experiences.

You’ll be actively involved in the development of DKB's broker product, as well as other exciting upcoming micro frontend initiatives that will extend and improve the DKB app. In close collaboration with product managers, backend developers, and designers, your work will have a direct impact on how hundreds of thousands of people interact with their finances every day.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain user-friendly, accessible, and high-performing TypeScript-based applications for an enterprise-grade B2C product.
• Take ownership of feature implementation—from technical planning to deployment—while collaborating across disciplines.
• Design and maintain scalable, reusable components and follow modern frontend architecture practices.
• Drive improvements in our frontend stack and codebase by identifying technical challenges and offering solutions.
• Actively participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement—both within the team and across our Web Chapter.
• Keep up with emerging frontend technologies and assess how they can benefit our product and development workflows.

Qualifications:

• You have formal training in computer science? Great! You don’t? No problem—as long as you bring solid professional experience and a passion for frontend development.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tools and build systems.
• Solid grasp of frontend architecture principles like modularization, state management, and scalability.
• A collaborative mindset—you’re comfortable pairing, mentoring, and working across teams to drive ideas forward.
• Bonus: Passion for accessibility, with hands-on experience implementing WCAG guidelines.
• Bonus: Familiarity with mobile web performance and adaptive design considerations.
• You're passionate about your work, but also know how to enjoy your free time!
