Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features and interfaces using React.js
• Build reusable, testable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, functional code
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate with server-side logic and RESTful APIs
• Work with Node.js for tasks such as build processes, server-side rendering, or API integrations
• Participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality and share knowledge with the team
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices
• Independent and structured work style with a strong team spirit

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of React.js and its core principles (e.g., Components, Hooks, State Management)
• Experience with popular React.js workflows, such as Redux or Context API
• Familiarity with Node.js and its ecosystem (e.g., npm/yarn, Express)
• Experience with common frontend development tools like Webpack, Babel, and Git
• Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling and working with RESTful APIs
• The ability and willingness to travel and work on-site at our Kempten office 1-2 times per week

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library
• Knowledge of modern CSS frameworks or methodologies (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• A portfolio of past projects or a link to your GitHub profile
