In collaboration with IHG and your team (regional sales, hotel sales & marketing), you will help establish the hotel brands Holiday Inn – the niu, Garner, and Candlewood Suites, stimulate business, and ensure continuous growth in revenue and RGI.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing sales strategies and tactics to maximize sales and strengthen the brands in close cooperation with relevant departments.
  2. Reviewing marketing and sales budgets and expenditures to ensure effective use of resources supporting business objectives.
  3. Reporting key metrics such as RGI, cost of sales, profitability, and total revenue regularly.
  4. Assisting hotels in utilizing market intelligence for strategic planning and understanding competition and business trends.
  5. Working closely with the Revenue Management & Regional Sales team to enhance hotel performance, especially for high CTP hotels and key cities.
  6. Supporting hotels in increasing their contribution by maximizing all booking channels.
  7. Ensuring synergy in the use of hotel operating systems, technology, and sales practices, and sharing best practices.
  8. Identifying training needs within the region and hotels and coordinating training programs.
  9. Identifying high-potential talent for development in the assigned area.

You are a strong leader who acts as a role model and communicates effectively at eye level.

You should also have:

  • Several years of experience in a comparable position
  • Good knowledge of hotel performance and distribution systems
  • Confidence in analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends
  • An affinity for numbers and setting targets and performance goals
  • Understanding of the German market, including primary and tertiary markets
  • An interest in technology
  • Ability to multitask and manage several tasks within deadlines
  • Skill in creating concise, impactful presentations
  • Strategic and tactical thinking with a creative approach to strategies
  • Fluent in German and English
