Nayak Group is seeking an FP&A Expert (m/w/d) to join the Finance & Controlling team for the Germany/Austria region. You will report to the Finance Director and collaborate with executives and international colleagues to deliver insights and drive cost optimization.

Responsibilities include monthly reports, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and BI/ERP modernization. Fluency in German and English is required; AI-driven planning experience is a plus.

Hey, future team member! We're looking for a:

FP&A Expert (m/w/d)

You will be part of the Nayak Group’s Finance & Controlling team and report directly to the Finance Director for the Germany/Austria region. You will work independently and closely with the executive board, managers from the various departments, and international Finance & Controlling colleagues at the Nayak Group’s other subsidiaries.

Your responsibilities with us:

• Creation and refinement of monthly management reports, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc analyses for senior management
• Managing the annual budgeting process and preparing rolling forecasts and scenario analyses
• Strategic consulting and a sounding board for department heads to optimize costs and revenue drivers
• Design and refinement of complex financial models for evaluating business cases, investments, or M&A activities
• Digitization and automation of controlling processes, as well as further development of the BI and ERP system landscape

Requirements

• A successfully completed degree in economics (with a focus on finance/controlling), industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience (at least 3–5 years) in FP&A, corporate controlling, or corporate finance
• Expert knowledge of MS Excel and extensive experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and ERP/EPM systems (e.g., Exact, Lucanet)
• Excellent numerical aptitude combined with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for action (“storytelling with numbers”)
• Fluency in German and English, as well as a confident and engaging demeanor when interacting with top management
• Strong initiative and the ability to work well with others
• First exposure to AI-powered planning approaches (predictive forecasting) or machine learning features in modern BI tools.
