Zusammenfassung

Accelleron is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support actuals analysis, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting for the Group. You will be a key user of a new FP&A software solution, driving requirements, testing and data validation to enable accurate reporting and streamlined processes.

The role requires 2–3 years in FP&A or related finance functions, a finance degree (CPA/CIMA preferred), and strong Excel skills.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with professional certification preferred (e.g., CIMA, CPA).
  • 2–3 years of FP&A, controlling, accounting or comparable analytical finance experience.
  • Experience with FP&A software deployment or finance process optimization is a plus.

Aufgaben

  • Support actuals analysis, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, initiative tracking and performance reporting.
  • Be the key user and sponsor of the new FP&A software solution, including requirements gathering, testing and data validation.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc financial analysis on revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capex and KPIs.
  • Monitor performance trends, variances, and prepare explanations for management.
  • Maintain and improve FP&A reports, dashboards and management reporting packages.
  • Collaborate with Group Controlling, Division finance teams and system stakeholders to optimize planning and workflows.
  • Contribute to data structure, master data and reporting logic discussions for scalable analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality.
  • Support benchmarking, scenario analysis and financial modelling for business reviews.
  • Assist with finance training materials and documentation.
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues to share knowledge and support standardized FP&A processes and tools.

As FP&A Analyst (m/f/d) for the Group, you will support actual and forward-looking financial analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management activities. The role will contribute to the continued improvement of FP&A processes, reporting quality and data transparency across the Group, working closely with Group Controlling and Division finance teams. A key focus will be supporting the deployment, optimization and adoption of a new FP&A software solution. The role will include being a dedicated key user of the software, helping translate business requirements into practical system improvements, testing new functionality, supporting data quality / enrichment and enabling efficient reporting & planning processes.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Support Group FP&A activities including actuals analysis, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, initiative tracking and performance reporting
  • Key user and sponsor of the new FP&A software solution, including requirement gathering, continuous improvement / development, user acceptance testing, data validation, report testing and issue follow-up
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc financial analysis on revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditure and other key performance indicators
  • Monitor performance trends, identify variances versus plan and forecast, and support the preparation of clear explanations and insights for management
  • Maintain and improve recurring FP&A reports, dashboards and management reporting packages, with a focus on accuracy, consistency and timely delivery
  • Work with Group Controlling, Division finance teams and system implementation stakeholders to optimize planning, forecasting and workflows in the new FP&A tool
  • Contribute to data structure, master data and reporting logic discussions to ensure the FP&A software supports efficient, scalable and reliable analysis
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting steps, simplify processes and improve data quality across planning and performance management activities
  • Support benchmarking, scenario analysis and financial modelling for business reviews, long-term planning and special projects
  • Assist with the preparation of finance community training material, user guidance and documentation for FP&A processes and system-enabled reporting
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues to share knowledge, capture improvement ideas and support adoption of standardized FP&A processes and tools
Your Background:
Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, preferably supported by a relevant professional certification (e.g., CIMA, CPA, etc.)
Experience:
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, controlling, accounting, audit, finance transformation or a comparable analytical finance role
  • Experience with, or proven interest in, systems development, FP&A software deployment, finance process optimization, reporting automation or digital finance tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a thorough and detail-oriented working style, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly
Skills and Competencies:
  • Confident working with large volumes of financial and operational data, with the ability to detect trends, identify key messages and isolate relevant information for decision making
  • Good understanding of core FP&A concepts including planning, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting and management reporting
  • Proven interest in developing and deploying self service software solutions (programming language not required) which includes reporting, data model analytics, workflow automation and AI-enabled productivity solutions
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with curiosity to understand business processes and a willingness to support change and user adoption
  • Basic understanding of data structures, master data, reporting hierarchies and system logic; ability to translate finance requirements into practical tool and process improvements
