SteerSuite GmbH in Germany is building an AI-native platform and seeks an engineering lead responsible for architecture, operations, and security. You will own production readiness and oversee AI-generated code to ensure safe, auditable deployments.
The role is part-time or full-time, remote from Germany with occasional on-site in Bochum or Düsseldorf; the position grows into a permanent engineering lead role with direct access to the founders.
We build SteerSuite as a two-person team, with no engineer on staff: we design, AI agents write and test the code, we sign off on it. What's missing is someone who owns technical responsibility: architecture, operations, security. An agent cannot do that, and no customer's IT department accepts one as their point of contact.
SteerSuite makes companies AI-native.
Our digital office is called SteerSuite HQ: people and AI agents work on the same tasks there, and we run our own company on it. A patent application for the technical core is pending with the German Patent Office (DPMA).
Founded in February 2026. Behind it are two founders: Sakis Tabakis (Bochum, 16 years of digitalization and finance leadership, including Schneider Electric and E.ON) and Julian Rosen (Miami, 15 years at EY), backed by an advisory board with backgrounds at Apple, Google and Schneider Electric.
Nice to have, not required: ISO 27001 or SOC 2 experience.
Part‑time or full‑time (50–100%), you tell us what fits. Start immediately, remote from Germany, occasional on‑site in Bochum or Düsseldorf, we cover travel costs. This role is built to last: it grows with us from the first seat on the core team into a permanent engineering lead role.
The controller responsible for processing is SteerSuite GmbH, Königsallee 19, 40212 Düsseldorf. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG. For the selection process, we will share your application documents with our co‑founder Julian Rosen in Miami (USA). Before this transfer takes place, we will implement an appropriate safeguard pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR. We will delete your documents no later than six months after completion of the process, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Providing your documents is voluntary, but required in order to participate in the application process; without them, we cannot consider your application. You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; further details can be found in our Privacy Policy.
