Job summary

SteerSuite in Germany is seeking a senior architect/engineer to own the architecture and operations of a multi-tenant SaaS on Azure and PostgreSQL. You will ensure tenant isolation, lead security posture, and drive production readiness as the product heads to market.

You will work closely with founders, review code, set quality standards, handle security questionnaires and audits, and decide what ships to production.

Qualifications

• Experience running a multi-tenant SaaS in production, incidents included.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, PostgreSQL and row-level security.
• Experience with security audits or customer due diligence.
• AI tools are part of how you build software every day.

SteerSuite HQ runs on Azure and goes to market this fall. You own the technology behind it: architecture, operations and security. You share this with Nemanja Milenkovic, who's already on the team as a founding engineer. When a customer's IT team checks whether they can trust us with their data, you're their point of contact.

Who we are

SteerSuite makes companies AI-native. With SteerSuite HQ we're building a platform for a plug & play AI workforce: AI agents anyone can put to work on their own tasks in a few steps, without technical skills. Founded in 2026 by Sakis Tabakis and Julian Rosen, based in Bochum/Düsseldorf and Miami.

What you'll do

• Own the architecture: a multi-tenant platform on Azure and PostgreSQL, with tenant isolation through row-level security.
• Operations and security: alerting, incidents, rollback. You handle security questionnaires, pentests and customer reviews from the first enterprise conversation on.
• Sign-off: you and Nemanja decide what ships to production.
• Code reviews and quality standards across the team.

Who you are

• You've run a multi-tenant SaaS in production, incidents included.
• You know Azure, PostgreSQL and row-level security from hands-on work.
• You've been through a security audit or a customer due diligence.
• AI tools are part of how you build software every day.

Nice to have, not required: ISO 27001 or SOC 2 experience.

The setup

Part-time or full-time (50–100%), you tell us what fits. Start immediately, remote from Germany, occasional on-site in Bochum or Düsseldorf, we cover travel costs. The role is built to last and grows with the engineering team.

The controller responsible for processing is SteerSuite GmbH, Königsallee 19, 40212 Düsseldorf. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG. For the selection process, we will share your application documents with our co-founder Julian Rosen in Miami (USA). Before this transfer takes place, we will implement an appropriate safeguard pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR. We will delete your documents no later than six months after completion of the process, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Providing your documents is voluntary, but required in order to participate in the application process; without them, we cannot consider your application.
