Zusammenfassung

CLAR AI is hiring a software engineer to bridge customer challenges with our agentic platform. You will own the journey from problem to deployed solution, building scalable AI agents that combine frontend interactivity with backend intelligence.

You will work on architecture, APIs, and full-stack delivery while focusing on uptime, latency, and UX. Expect close collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to ship impactful features.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building production-grade full-stack web applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern frontend and backend tech stacks (React, TS, NodeJS or Python).
• Familiarity with AI model integration, retrieval, and multi-agent architectures.

Your Role & Responsibilities

This is no ordinary engineering role. As the bridge between our customers’ critical challenges and our agentic platform, you will own the entire journey from complex problem to deployed solution.

• Deconstruct the Challenge: Immerse yourself in our customers’ operations, collaborating with everyone from operators to executives to map messy workflows and high-impact opportunities.

• Architect & Build the Solution: Translate unstructured business problems into robust, scalable AI agents. You’ll design architectures, define APIs, and implement full-stack solutions that combine frontend interactivity with backend intelligence.

• Drive Real-World Impact: Manage the go-live process from CI/CD pipelines to runtime monitoring. You’ll ship fast, iterate on user feedback and telemetry and ensure your agentic system delivers measurable value in live environments. You care about uptime, latency, and reliability as much as UX and accuracy.

• Shape Our Core Platform & Company: Identify recurring technical patterns across deployments to help productize them. You’ll influence system design standards and the evolution of our internal frameworks - shaping both our product roadmap and the technical DNA of the company.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You are a brilliant builder, problem-solver, and entrepreneur, combining deep technical skill with business intuition and a relentless drive to deliver.

• Software Engineering: You have strong engineering foundations and quickly write clean, production-ready code. You’re comfortable spinning up full-stack web applications from scratch (e.g. in React, Typescript and NodeJS or Python) - building rich, performant frontends and backend logic to power them.

• AI Native: You think like an AI engineer, build on top of foundation models and understand combining model capabilities with retrieval, voice AI, multi-agent architectures, external tools etc. You’re excited about designing new abstractions for reasoning, memory, and interaction - the emerging blocks of agentic software.

• Entrepreneurial Mindset: You take radical ownership, think in systems, and optimize for outcomes. You can move from whiteboard sketch to live deployment in days - and you know when to ship and when to polish.

• Customer Obsession: You’re treating customer problems as your own to design an exceptional user experience and deliver it through code. You’re comfortable to travel occasionally to customers. You are an excellent communicator (German & English) with both technical and business counterparts.

• Pragmatic Builder: You thrive in ambiguity and messy customer data and can break down complex problems, moving forward without a perfect roadmap. You have a strong sense of product aesthetics and craftsmanship, ensuring what you build is not just functional, but also thoughtful and polished.
