Stott and May Inc. is partnering with an AI company building an operating system for product and material compliance in German manufacturing. This hybrid role blends product engineering with direct customer engagement, enabling you to ship initial solutions and evolve them for broader deployment.

You will lead customer calls, gather feedback, and translate learnings into scalable, end-to-end production work using Python, TypeScript, React, and AWS. Fluency in German and English is required.

My client is an AI company building the operating system for product and material compliance in German manufacturing. Today, compliance information is scattered across ERP exports, supplier portals, Excel, email, and scanned PDFs. My client brings it all together in a single, fully automated system. from sourcing supplier data and monitoring new regulations, right through to the declaration of conformity.

The team is building a compliance graph that moves companies from reactive bureaucracy to proactive and, ultimately, autonomous, machine readable compliance, ready for the era of the Digital Product Passport.

The Role

This is a true hybrid of Product Engineer and Forward Deployed Engineer.

• Around 20 to 30% of your time: customer calls with quality and purchasing teams. You'll understand their problems, demo what the team has built and capture feedback. You'll run these calls on your own, with no sales or product colleague in the room.
• The rest of your time: building. You'll ship the first solution end to end, then turn what works for one customer into product that works for ten.
