As part of our project teams, you will work directly with clients and support the implementation of data and AI use cases – from data preparation and modeling to business impact validation. You will gain first‑hand experience in how AI and advanced analytics transform enterprise processes.

The role

As an Intern in Forward Deployed AI Engineering you become part of the client team from day one. You will partner with our consultants to prepare data, prototype analyses and validate AI use cases that unlock measurable business value.

You will learn how we translate business challenges into technical solutions and experience how we collaborate with customers on site and remotely.

What you will do

• Support discovery, data preparation and validation activities for AI and analytics initiatives.
• Build exploratory notebooks, dashboards or prototypes with SQL, Python and modern analytics frameworks.
• Document insights and present interim findings to consultants, engineers and client stakeholders.
• Contribute to reusable assets together with the team – from data pipelines to visualization templates.
• Bring a maker mindset to every assignment and help us experiment with new AI capabilities.

Qualifications you need

• Currently enrolled in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering or a comparable field with strong academic results.
• Hands‑on skills in Python and SQL; experience with analytics or ML libraries (pandas, scikit‑learn, dbt, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
• Curiosity for process intelligence and a willingness to learn platforms like Celonis.
• Structured communication skills in German and English, plus the confidence to collaborate with clients.
• A proactive, experiment‑driven mindset and enthusiasm for working in dynamic project environments.
