The role

As a Senior Data Science & Management Consultant you lead strategic engagements end‑to‑end. You coach customers from the first value hypothesis to scaled execution, orchestrate cross‑functional teams, and make sure our solutions stay anchored in measurable business outcomes.

You will collaborate closely with our founders, guide associates and interns, and represent cavalis with senior stakeholders on the client side. You translate ambiguous challenges into concrete roadmaps that combine process excellence, analytics and AI.

The work you will do

• Own discovery‑to‑value cycles for process intelligence, analytics and AI initiatives, from scoping to measurable impact.
• Design data models, analyses and automation concepts that unlock tangible value.
• Coach client teams to embed new ways of working, while mentoring associates and interns at cavalis.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and articulate strategic recommendations with clarity.
• Turn successful solutions into reusable accelerators that enhance our Data Intelligence Factory.

Qualifications you need

• 4+ years of experience in data‑driven consulting, process excellence or analytics roles with demonstrable business impact.
• Expertise in SQL and Python as well as common analytics, BI or process intelligence platforms (Celonis experience is a plus).
• Track record of leading customer workshops, managing senior stakeholders and coaching junior team members.
• Fluency in German and English, paired with excellent storytelling and structured problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent academic background in Data Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Economics or a comparable field.
