The role

As a Data Science & Management Consultant at cavalis, you will bridge data, processes and business transformation. You will help clients understand how data flows through their operations and how insights can drive measurable improvements.

You will:

• Work side by side with clients to understand their systems and challenges and co‑develop data‑driven solutions.
• Build and implement analyses, dashboards and insights that improve transparency and decision‑making.
• Design and execute process and performance analyses, often powered by process mining and advanced analytics.
• Prototype, validate and implement use cases with clear impact on business KPIs.
• Present results and recommendations convincingly to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications you need

• Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Strong data and analytics skills: SQL, Python and common analytics or visualization tools (e.g. pandas, Power BI, Tableau). Experience with machine learning or AI frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with process mining platforms (ideally Celonis) or strong motivation to learn them.
• Analytical mindset, structured approach and pragmatic problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent academic background in Data Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or similar.
• First relevant experience in data analytics, process intelligence or consulting is beneficial.
