Job Overview

Provide quality food services supporting service members and their families with flexible, efficient, and cost-effective service at the USAG Bavaria dining facilities.

Qualifications

• Certification: Possess a ServSafe certificate or be able to complete 4 hours of Basic Food Handlers Training
• A health screening certificate from a medical professional
• Language Skills: Able to read, understand, and speak basic English
• Experience: Customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Service diners at a designated flow rate to ensure freshly prepared, quality food is always provided
• Serve meals and maintain self-service items, ice, and beverages during designated meal serving periods
• Ensure self-service items are available to diners
• Follow correct serving size guidelines and use appropriate utensils
• Set up and break down serving lines for each meal shift
• Keep serving lines replenished and clean during service
• Wash all fresh fruits and vegetables prior to preparation or serving
• Maintain proper food temperatures at all times
• Provide sandwich service upon request
• Assist in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards for the entire restaurant

Please note that this opportunity is limited to individuals located near the place of performance in Germany, preferably associated with the US Military under SOFA status, and/or Local Nationals.
