Job Title: FOAK Manager

As the FOAK Manager, you will be responsible for leading the deployment of our pilot project, from coordinating permits to managing operational readiness. You will oversee the engineering team, align stakeholders, and ensure that all components are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest standard. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can navigate complex challenges while driving the project toward successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pilot Project Deployment: Lead the deployment of our pilot project, ensuring all elements are executed efficiently and effectively. Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet project goals.
  2. Permits and Compliance: Oversee the permitting process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Plan and implement operational strategies to prepare for project execution and post-deployment operations.
  3. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central coordination point for the engineering team and other stakeholders involved in building the pilot. Foster clear communication and collaboration between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  4. Team Leadership: Provide leadership to the engineering team, being their first point of contact for technical challenges and ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and professional development. Build and nurture a high-performing, motivated team capable of meeting deployment goals.
Your Profile
Skills and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing complex engineering or infrastructure projects, ideally in hydrogen, desalination, or other pilot projects considering engineering from all disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process, civil, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders under high-pressure conditions to reach ambitious goals.
  • Ideally, experience with permitting and regulatory processes.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Technical understanding of multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams.
