Job Description:

We are seeking a Flight Mechanics Engineer to join our team in Manching. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing new flight mechanics models, vehicle simulation tools, and handling qualities assessments.
  2. Taking responsibility for clearance assessment tasks and preparing simulation models, check cases, and input data.
  3. Supporting flight test campaigns and analyzing flight test data.
  4. Collaborating with interface disciplines such as aerodynamics, fuel/stores, system design, loads, and safety.
  5. Maintaining and updating existing simulation tools.
  6. Performing linear and non-linear simulations for clearance activities.
  7. Analyzing aerodynamic data and complex simulation results.
  8. Documenting and summarizing simulation outcomes.
Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will:

  1. Hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering (Master's or Diploma).
  2. Have experience in IT and aviation environments.
  3. Be proficient in programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, C, or C++.
  4. Possess excellent communication skills.
  5. Be capable of working independently and self-motivated.
  6. Work well in team settings and be an excellent team player.
  7. Have strong German and English language skills.
