Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. in Köln, Germany is seeking a Flex Trainee to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. You will contribute to next-generation turbomolecular and vacuum pumps while collaborating across mechanics, mechatronics, electronics and software.

Aufgaben

• Support development of next-generation turbomolecular and vacuum pumps.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary engineering projects across mechanics, mechatronics, electronics and software.
• Work on topics like magnetic bearings, electric drives, vacuum technology, digitalization and simulation.
• Assist verification and validation activities in the lab environment.
• Participate in product improvement and sustaining projects.
• Collaborate with Process Development and Operations on industrialization and manufacturing needs.
• Work on cross-functional projects with Purchasing, Quality and Product Management.
• Cooperate with international engineering teams and research partners.
• Drive your own improvement or technology project through the graduate program.

As a Flex Trainee, your tasks will include:

• Supporting the development of next-generation turbomolecular and vacuum pumps
• Contributing to multidisciplinary engineering projects involving mechanics, mechatronics, electronics and software
• Working on technology topics such as magnetic bearings, electric drives, vacuum technology, digitalization and simulation
• Supporting verification and validation activities in our laboratory environment
• Participating in product improvement and sustaining projects
• Collaborating with Process Development and Operations to understand industrialization and manufacturing requirements
• Supporting cross-functional projects together with Purchasing, Quality and Product Management
• Cooperating with international engineering teams and research partners
• Driving your own improvement, innovation or technology project throughout the graduate program
