Zusammenfassung

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. in Darmstadt, Germany, is seeking an Automation Software Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Automation Innovation Center.

You will collaborate with the R&D team from concept to final product, developing cutting-edge automation solutions. Responsibilities include developing hardware-related software with CODESYS V3 and Siemens Step7, integrating modules in C++, and applying SOLID principles.

Qualifikationen

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in software development, particularly with system-level programming languages.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
  • Very good in English and German, speaking and writing.

As an Automation Software Engineer (f/m/d) in our Automation Innovation Center, you'll work closely with our R&D team in Darmstadt. From concept to final product, you'll help create cutting-edge automation solutions.

To succeed, you will need

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Solid experience in software development, particularly with system-level programming languages
  • Preferred: Familiarity with industrial production technologies and relevant industry standards
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and assume responsibility
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset in your way of driving the development
  • Innovative, following technology trends, in close cooperation with the customer
  • Very good in English and German, speaking and writing
  • Team player with good communication skills with different stakeholders, at all levels of hierarchy
  • Willingness to travel (max 15%) and the ability to present new ideas in a convincing manner

Job location
