DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Manager responsible for ensuring the safety, compliance, availability, and customer satisfaction of the Fleet in their designated region of Germany. The successful candidate will execute business strategies, innovate solutions for optimal outcomes, and implement best practices within the larger fleet organization across Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations and Amazon standards through audits and regional feedback collection in collaboration with Fleet Compliance and Product teams.
2. Executing existing fleet initiatives and supporting new product launches, engaging with delivery partners to manage their fleet effectively.
3. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to resolve complex operational challenges, managing escalations, and influencing stakeholders.
4. Managing vehicle operational readiness and standards by analyzing data from various fleet management sources to enhance customer experience.
5. This role is based at a delivery station in Germany, requiring 30-40% travel within the region and occasional travel across Europe.

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles last-mile delivery in partnership with third-party distributors, focusing on continuous improvement and innovative delivery solutions to enhance customer experience. Our teams operate 24/7, supporting both 'under the roof' and 'on the road' operations, including Amazon Flex contractors. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in influencing and partnering with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work effectively across various organizations, cultures, and management levels
• Strong communication skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in German and English
• Preferred: Location in Eastern or Western Germany, including Cologne, Dusseldorf, Berlin, or Leipzig

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA)
• Experience in Fleet Management, Operations, or mobility services
