We are looking for a FiS Remote Planning for Remote & onboard survey to join our FiS Planning team for West Europe.
The FiS Planning team consists of a Head of Section, FiS Technical Planners and Planning support colleagues and is part of the newly formed Global Planning organization in Ship Classification.
The Global Planning organization started in January 2024, supporting the FiS production with six planning teams around the globe. The FiS Planning team for West Europe plans and schedules FiS surveys in 11 countries.
As a regional planning support member, you work in a professional, competent, agile and service oriented environment and will report to the Head of Regional Planning West Europe.
Join Our Team as a FiS Remote Planning & Planning Support – Play a Vital Role in Global Survey OperationsWe are seeking a FiS Remote Planning & Planning Support (Remote & on board survey) to contribute to the efficient delivery of FiS surveys Remote and on-board while ensuring top-quality results and an enhanced customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:As a FiS Remote Planning & Planning Support Specialist for Remote & on board surveys, you will:
- Manage Survey Requests: Review incoming remote and on board FiS Survey Requests (SR) for the West Europe Region, ensuring accurate information and timely updates.
- Coordinate Planning Systems: Maintain the information in the new Planning tool DPlanner (replacing Nauticus Planner), updating schedules, uploading key information, and assigning surveyors based on instructions from the Technical Planner & Remote planner.
- Collaborate Globally: Coordinate with other planners and regions to determine the best locations and times for requested surveys/audits.
- Drive Remote Work Initiatives: Promote and participate in remote survey jobs, liaising with technical experts and customers.
- Liaise with Global Teams: Collaborate with planners and regions to find the best locations and times for surveys/audits.
- Assign Qualified Personnel: Schedule and assign competent Surveyors/Auditors when remote/attendance is required, using advanced planning tools.
- Strengthen Relationships: Build strong connections with technical experts, surveyors, and regional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and propose improvements to the planning process for greater efficiency.
