The Opportunity

This position works out of our Wiesbaden-Delkenheim Abbott Diagnostics GmbH location.

Job Title: Finished Product Planner Reagents

The contract is fixed-term and will end on December 31, 2026.

Primary Function
  • Overall responsibility for Demand & Supply Planning of Finished Products (Reagents, Cals, Ctrs, Disposables, Accessories and printed material) to ensure the customer service, the financial (inventory and distressed) and quality & safety goals.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination and Communication
  • Support of the Abbott Affiliates
Major Responsibilities
  • Demand Planning & Supply Planning of a defined product group to assure the availability of the products in the right quality, sufficient quantity at the required time and required place via ADD ONE Planning System.
  • Support the Affiliates with available information, reservations and special requests when required.
  • Support financial exercise for Plan & Update cycles for defined product group at required due dates. Provide Supply Plan to the manufacturing sites
  • Set allocations, assignments, reservations according to requirements
  • Analyze product shipments vs. FCs, collect FCs and revise numbers accordingly
  • Solicit & consolidate demand forecasts for new & conversion products with a view to ensure product availability and to minimize distressed.
  • Carry out / participate at monthly Regulatory & Supply Chain RU/RD calls.
  • Establish & carry out monthly/weekly reports & required KPI s
  • System and process improvements identified and completed when required.
  • Establishment of ISO documents
Education
  • Appropriate qualification in either Product Planning or Production Planning or Purchasing or
  • University degree preferably in Business Administration / Logistics / IT or another economical education with min.3 years of work experience.
Background
  • A high level of expertise is required in solving logistics, expediting and purchasing problems
  • Good communication skills with a level of management within the organization
  • Good proficiency in English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel & sound knowledge of other standard office software
