Our client is a successful international company known for innovation in healthcare, graphic arts, optical devices, highly functional materials, and other high-tech areas with more than 30,000 employees worldwide. For their Medical Devices Business Unit in Ratingen (with 2 days of home office per week), we are currently looking for a Financial Controller (m / f / d).

Aufgaben

Your Responsibilities:

1. Coordination, execution, and reporting of periodical closing (monthly, quarterly, annual) with actionable recommendations and analyses on business development.
2. Manage planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and estimation.
3. Establish and refine reporting structures for accurate and timely financial insights.
4. Develop and expand controlling areas (e.g., Sales Controlling, Marketing Controlling).
5. Planning, coordination, and execution of internal audit programs (internal control systems) and continuous process improvements.
6. Participate in discussions on non-routine transactions/issues (e.g., new business, new processes).
7. Monitor segregation of duties in critical applications and systems, investigate potential fraud cases in conjunction with the SAP team.
8. Optimize business processes to improve efficiency and financial transparency.
9. Lead and implement financial projects and initiatives.

Profil

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Controlling, or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in financial controlling or accounting.
• Very good knowledge of controlling methods, accounting rules, and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive SAP (R/3) knowledge; IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics and PowerBI are a plus.
• Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written.
